- The three keys to success
On 19th May, sixty-five businesspeople and engineers from the plastics industry gathered at MUNDIMOLD to attend a conference on "The Three Keys to Success: 5-axis machines, tools and funding". The event was organized by GF AGIECharmilles, a supplier of machine tools, automated solutions and comprehensive services, and also featured IMCAR, a company specializing in tools and tool holders for manufacturing high-technology moulds and dies.
MUNDIMOLD opened up its facilities so that conference attendees could see a demonstration of how the company operates and gain a new vision of 5-axis machining.
The presentations were given by Ferrán Santandreu, Product Manager at GF AgieCharmilles, Gerard Vergés, the group’s Director for Spain and Portugal, Albert Rabassó, Sales Director at IMCAR, Juan Vicente Mullor, Project Manager at MUNDIMOLD, and Pascual Palomares, head of Palomares Consultores.
The guided tour of the facilities included a 5-axis machining test described by Mateo Cano, an Applications Engineer at GF AgieCharmilles, and Raúl Fernández, an Applications Engineer at IMCAR.
